First-time entrants Scope Fire & Security had a whirlwind ride for their first experience of the BIBAs – and it paid off with them winning Service Business of the Year last time out.
Over the next few weeks, we will be getting the inside story on what last year’s winners made of their journey – and how entering the awards might be the best thing you do this year.
The Burnley-based business were a regular on the BIBAs bus tour for judges having entered a few categories. Their efforts were well rewarded with not only a win, but what the boss describes as “credible award” for his staff and the company.
Scott Chapman, managing director of Scope Fire & Security, said: “We’d not entered the BIBAs before, the Service Business of the Year Award seemed like something that would bring real credibility to what we try to achieve every single day. It also is a real boost to the staff who strive for service excellence and the award is something that adds some real validation for their efforts.
“When our name was announced it was a very proud moment for the business, the staff and myself, it gave us all a real boost.
“Winning a BIBA has helped kick us on to the next level. We also have the award as credibility to back up what we promise to our customers.”
