Lancashire County Council – headline sponsors of the BIBAs – have been in awe of the calibre of this year’s entrants.
As well as heading up the awards, the authority have also been judging Business of The Year, seen by many as the ultimate accolade.
With hundreds of applications received for the 20 categories, the BIBAs has expanded its reach this year by including new awards, including Leadership Team of the Year and Low Carbon Business of the Year.
All categories have seen a diverse range of businesses battling it out for the ultimate prize of standing on that iconic stage and getting hold of a BIBA and the recognition of their peers.
Aidy Riggott, Lancashire County Council’s cabinet member Economic Development and Growth, said: “Our partnership with the BIBAs underscores our commitment to celebrating and supporting the many exceptional business that contribute to the success of Lancashire.”
