“Bagging a BIBA is beneficial for the whole business”

As part of the class of 2025, Additive Manufacturing Solutions were not hanging around at getting their application in again for this year’s BIBAs.

After walking off stage with Micro Business of the year and collecting a Highly Commended in Innovative, the Skelmersdale-based business said the recognition and endorsement from their peers encouraged them to go for it again.

Rob Higham, managing director of AMS, said: We included the whole team in completing the application which was a good opportunity to celebrate the positives, thinking about how far we have come and brought about a sense of pride for where we are a business regardless of the outcome of the application.

“Being winners does help with workforce motivation as it provides endorsement for all their hard work too, we really did celebrate our win as a complete workforce win and this supports motivation and a sense of belonging. It has been excellent when approaching new companies and growing the business to be able to state we are an awarding winning Lancashire business.

“We are entering again because the process has been beneficial to the whole business, from internal reflection to building our network to the business promotion, there is great value in being a part of these awards.”
